The Zeppelin dosing and conveying screws are designed to dose and convey virtually any types of bulk materials and can be used for conveying systems as well as for the exact dosing into weigh scales. Our dosing and conveying screws can be optimally adapted to your requirements. Thus, for areas requiring a very high degree of hygiene, such as the production of baby food, a hygienic model is available.

Construction

The dosing and conveying screw is composed completely of stainless steel and is easy to clean. For exact conveying and metering, the screw can be set to either coarse or fine flow by a frequency converter. The direct drive enables easy inspection and maintenance. Optionally, a valve can be installed at the outlet in order to avoid any unwanted additional discharge of the bulk material after the screw has stopped.

The hygienic model is equipped with a clamp connection for the bearing housings at the inlet and the outlet. By means of these quick access connections, the screw shaft can be easily pulled out, inspected and cleaned dry. For the hygienic model all inside welding seams in contact with the product are ground smooth, the screw and the screw tube are electrochemically polished.
